The total of the box office will be donated to the soprano Andrea Priscila Gutiérrez for her trip to Vienna. This talented Yucatecan was selected by The Vienna Opera Academy.

Come and enjoy a voice and piano concert with a wide repertoire of arias representative of the operatic genre and art songs. This tour, which goes from French song to Spanish and Mexican composers, will be performed by soprano Andrea Gutierrez and pianist/harpsichordist Priscila Torres, who began their musical career at an early age and have performed in multiple theaters in the city and participated with many local and national orchestras.

Soprano

He began his studies with the teacher Hugo Pinto Alonzo in 2012 with whom he continued at the Yucatan Higher School of Arts until 2014 and with the teacher and pianist Alberto Álvarez Íñiguez.

He has performed as a soloist with the Gustavo Río Escalante orchestra under the direction of María Elena Mendiola Orozco and with the chamber orchestra of the city of Mérida conducted by Russell Montañez Coronado, as well as in various artistic festivals such as spring and autumn. culture, the international art festival "Mérida Fest" and in different theaters and concert halls such as Peón Contreras, Olimpo and Palacio de la Música, singing operatic repertoire, Lieder, oratorio, zarzuela and popular concert music.

The most important participations he has had in recent years: (2017) cycle "Mozart and the opera" Duets and arias, "Weichet nur Betrübte Shatten" cantata by J. S. Bach and orchestra, International Festival Mérida Fest "Stabat mater" pergolesi, ( 2018) Inauguration of the music palace by President Enrique Peña “Mexican opera & composers” series of opera and zarzuela Prohispen “Luisa Fernanda”, “La Traviata”, (2019) The minaret “Die Lieder & Chanson”, “Die Zauberflu00f6te ” and “Rigoletto” concert format, International Book Fair “Mexican Baroque” (2020) “opera & Lied” virtual format. (2021) "No Limits Opera Festival" in the city of La Paz in Baja California Sur.

He belongs to the academic chamber choir of Yucatan of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts, under the direction of Jonathan Rentería Valdés, which has a wide repertoire and has performed in different states of the republic, as well as in the operas "Carmen" , "Rigoletto" and "Elixir of love" in the city of Mérida. He has taken classes with tenor Christian Kostal, René Velázquez, Renate Weninger (Vienna), in Mexico City with tenor José Reyes Flores, tenor Flavio Becerra, pianist Andrés Sarre, soprano Lourdes Ambriz, Gabriela Herrera, Baritone Carsten Wittmosser, Alejandra Sandoval, María Katzarava and Verónica Villarroel. She is currently a student of the professorship of the teacher Thusnelda Nieto Jara. She this 2022 she was accepted to be part of the "Vienna Opera Academy" in its summer program where "Cosí Fan Tutte" by W.A Mozart will be presented.

Priscila Torres Conrado

Pianist and harpsichordist

At the age of six, he began his music studies, entering a few years later at the Mejorada Cultural Center and the Superior School of Arts of Yucatan.

He studied ancient music (harpsichord) with the teacher Luisa Durón at the Faculty of Music of the UNAM, Continuous Bass and Ancient Temperaments with Eunice Padilla. She has taken master classes with Martyn Van den Hoek, David Gómez, Trinidad Sanchís Pico, Tomiko van den Hoek-Kaneko, Silvia Navarrete, Appo Hakinnen and Elizabeth Joyé. He was part of the Yucatan Youth Symphony Orchestra, the ESAY Chamber Orchestra and has been a guest musician with the Mérida Chamber Orchestra, the Ensemble de Alientos of Mexico City and the Gustavo Río Escalante Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Coyoacán and the Ópera de Bellas Artes, appearing in different forums such as the Peón Contreras Theater, the Olimpo, the Daniel Ayala Pérez Theater, the Armando Manzanero Theater, the Juárez Hall, the Macedonio Alcalá Theater, the San Pablo Cultural Center and the Palacio de Bellas Arts. As an accompanying pianist, he has played with Carla Dirlikov, Iain Hunter, João Vilão, Paco Rodríguez Azorín, Sofía Zumbado, etc. Likewise, she has been invited as an accompanying pianist in various music schools such as: UNAM Faculty of Music, National Conservatory of Music, Ollin Yoliztli "Life and Movement" School of Music, Higher School of Music and the Faculty of Fine Arts of Oaxaca. She participated as a pianist in the Huatulco Opera Program.
