Emiliano López Javier, originally from Oaxaca, was born in 1959 in Santa Fe and La Mar, Valle Nacional, Tuxtepec region, representative land for his dance of the pineapple flower.

He is the son of the artist Carmen Javier and brother of the also artist Maximino Javier, recognized as the Chinantec trilogy.

His professional training was at the Rufino Tamayo Plastic Arts Workshop under the direction of Maestro Roberto Donís. Oaxaca, Mexico from 1978 to 1984. The techniques that Emiliano masters are oil, watercolor, graphics, bronze sculptures and high temperature ceramics.
